My Singapore Holiday..
I’m back in good old Adelaide. This past week was sooo, incredibly much fun!!
Some highlights:
- My Grandfather’s birthday dinner, not to mention all the other family lunches and dinners that we had together as a family. I miss them already. Be it Soup Kitchen, or just chillin at Mama’s house.. was soo good.
- The Sunday lunch sessions with the youth – riding in Zq’s and Amy’s cars.. changing songs on their iPods with Shu Ai.
- Miss Clarity Café with Sash, Amy, Shu Ai, Sam. Haha the BETS we MADE. I won a bet.. and then seconds later being smashed to the ground by zq’s sms that brought diplomacy. Hahaha I STILL OWE Sash 3 bucks but oh well he’ll forget about it.
- Herbs and Spices Indian (free pappadum) dinner with Gene, Rach, Shu Ai, Sam, Bec, Zq, Amy & Sash. Hahah and I AM NOT A CHEAPPOO… Sam is rich btw..
- Playing Pictionary as a team with Sashi – WE ROCK!! WE MADE IT! THOUGH WE HAD OUR BACKS UP AGAINST THE WALL..- our song anthem. hahahahaha *Dances our Victory Dance while Sam, Shu Ai and Bec look on.. DEFEATED!!!* We definitely have to do that again. (okay for further clarifications, go to Sam’s blog and view her tagboard and posts)..
- Jogging with Sashi (& Pastor Wilson) – First, Sash and me jogged at Pierce Reservior – he must have done at least 5km, whilst I aka the slacker, did about 2.5-3km, and walked half the way. Then on Thursday, Sashi and Pastor Wilson and I did a run at East Coast Park – They ran and I walked ALL THE WAY.. Haha but it was such a nice walk, with the slight breeze and the seaview… how romantic. Haha I was walking by myself whilst sash n pastor Wilson were sooo far ahead.
- The times spent hanging with my sisters, Sam and Bec (and Sashi) haha. In Sash’s car, going places with Sam.
- The Late Night Supper with Shu Ai, where we learnt bout our love languages (and those around us too). Btw, I think my love language is primarily spending quality time with others, and through the touch. What’s yours??
- The msning, and smsing with various people.
- Hanging with Gaius – was an awesome catch up session, AYE?! AHAHAHAH. (well, for me). Don’t know how he felt.. I bet it was good for him too though haha
- The High-Tea at Marriott Hotel combined with a Swissotel stayover on the 56th floor, with three of my best friends, Rach, Jame and Mann to cap things off. This was the ultimate girls night.. high tea, shopping, more shopping, movies, facial masks, foot spas (in the bath tub), hair dyeing, manicures and pedicures.. you name it!!! Talking, laughing, eating Maccas and catching up, sleeping.. Smelli and Smelly right Jame? Haha. There was even a fireworks display just for us (okay, and the whole of Singapore) to watch but we caught it live at City Hall. I miss all of you very much. I love that we can pick up where we left off, and never even miss a beat. I love that after 22 years, we’re still all really, really, really close friends. I love that no matter what I do or say (and believe me, that can be a lot), you guys still love and accept me and still talk to me no matter how angry I make you. Hahahaha. EMAIL ME AHHHH and DON’T TELL ME UR TIRED/SLEEPY. hahaha
- The airport. How you guys came to send me off. Thank you!! Esp to Sash – thanks for the present!! I cant believe you gave me that!!! Haha I really appreciate it. My eyeballs nearly fell out of my sockets when I saw it. And also Thanks to Derek, Huimin, Zq, Amy, Max, Jaylord, Jeremiah, Sash and my whole family for coming to send me off. T3 is sooo damn big I nearly missed my flight running towards Gate 13.
Sigh. Only about.. 102 more days to go.. yes pple.. haha
It was a fantastic holiday.
deb's outta there..
