Essay: My Weekend
I had one of the most fantastic, relaxing, easy weekends so far this year. Well, most of my weekends are awesome (as you can tell). But this was really good because the past few weeks I have been stressing about my Kaplan Exam, starting teacher training, keeping my house clean etc. So, let me tell you about it.
On Friday after class I went to the city. Josh had to play for GRIP that night because they were having a combined youth worship service (people from 3 other churches were there and the place was packed out). Then we decided to just head home and cook dinner (YES WE’RE HOMEBODIES!!). So we ended up having dinner at like 11pmish, and just watched a DVD. He had to leave as he was working the next morning, so I just stayed home and slept.
On Saturday I woke up, stuffed around for abit with Milo.. and full cleaned my house man! So much so that I found about 300 bucks some money left on my night stand (think my uncle and aunt left it last month when they were here damnit and I didn’t even thank them!!! Ahhaha that was a nice surprise)
Then went to the city for the Sass and Bide Sale! Jeans were going for 50 bucks!!!! Haha BUT I didn’t find anything I liked and I couldn’t be bothered changing in a room full of women. I guess I’ll have to get them at full price when I actually see something I like (think I’ve slightly changed, pple?!!) haha. OH YEAH speaking of which!! I GOT MY FIRST (platinum visa) CREDIT CARD!! Its not something to be excited about I know, but I guess I really am because that’s like a grown-up thing to have and do. My parents were smart and told me I had to get my own instead of letting them pay for it.
On Sunday I went to church and lunch. Then we went to Kmart to pick afew things for the house (bought cushions instead) (Tip: Kmart - Very handy for a mortgage holder with one income). Then, Josh went to lead his bible study, and I went to Joy’s to help with the wedding programs (only 2 weeks pple.. 2 WEEKS!!), From there I had a touch footy practice, and went home to have a shower. Threw some dinner together, and then went to catch up with a friend for coffee. Got home early, and watched Narnia on TV. Had an early night then..
YAY!! On another note, the Queen’s Birthday long weekend is coming up this weekend!!! I plan to have a day of full relaxation, and just spend it at home not doing anything, or going anywhere. As I mentioned to my mother earlier, this is the first long weekend that I haven’t done anything or been away, as you can see here..

April 25th Anzac Day: Went to Sydney with Clara
