Why.. Bother..???
It is 9.45pm on a typical Thursday night for me.
I have just come home from what can only be described as a gruelling gym session and touch footy game.. okay we won and it was a good game, but im really tired now.

As I fling open the door the list of things that I had been furtively composing in my head just disappears into the chaos as I stare at the mess that is my house.

List of things to do:
1) Finish my assignment by doing an all nighter.
2) Assemble my newly bought bike.
3) Come up with a schedule to get my fitness act together (for Joy's wedding)
4) Wash the dishes.
5) Shower.

On Sunday, my house was clean. And, I mean, CLEAN. I CLEANED my whole house.. i clean it every weekend.. because it always gets messy by thursday or friday....

Can someone please tell me how the hell, in just a mere 4 days, did my nice clean house turn into a battle scene from Armageddon?!!! MY GOD... Realising this has sprung me into full-on panic mode..

I mean.. I live alone, AND i dont have any kids. All i have is Milo - and the only mess he ever makes is his kitty litter tray, and the occasional pee on the couch.
How did I, turn my nice house in a mere 4 days.. into.. into... a big fat mess? If so, WHY BOTHER doing the housework then?? WHY BOTHER?? WHY?

WHY?!!
ARRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

How will I, then cope when I get married, and start having kids?? I listen to my friends tell of their house messes.. (most of them have kids by the way), and I am just horrified at MINE.. because frankly, I got news for you..

Home ownership.. not easy! True it may be fun, but its definately not easy to juggle the housework. Am I alone? Is it just me??
I would so love to hear from you if you are experiencing the same thing..

Anyway....
New List of Things to do for Deb:
1) Stop Panicking.
2) Take a nice, long hot shower.
3) Forget about the housework for now, just concentrate on finishing the assignment.4) Come up with a day schedule to plan for fitness AND housework AND study.
5) Feed Milo and myself (havent had dinner yet)
6) Stop procrastinating through blogging.. and go do #1.

I will do my housework tomorrow night after I return from my singing class.. and assemble the bike then too..

deb's outta there..

??unknown?? - debs

Maybe its intuition
Marred by a sense of completion
I’m searching for
Only of which that You so freely give
I’ve found in You
My hope, my life – my everything

I know that it might sound
More than a little crazy
But I believe

I know He loved you before He formed you
You were made perfect in His eyes
He opens wide out his arms to embrace you
He has been waiting all this time

There’s just no rhyme of reason
Only through love by salvation
Is death upturned
I see His glories and His mercies
As they unfold
In my life, all around me

I know He loved you before He formed you
I think He dreamed you into life
He opens wide out His arms to embrace you
Will you not ask Him in this time

lyrics by Deborah Koh!
