Uni started..
Today. I repeat, Uni, aka hell aka stressor started today. ARGGHh why in the world are Textbooks so EXPENSIVE?!!! ok i had my first lecture today and after, was so freaked out i went and bought the textbooks, 2 HEAVY BIG ones.. and now i am broke.. i mean that stupid lecturer.. i have the 7th Edition of the required text book.. but to SOME PEOPLE its not GOOD ENOUGH... some people = my lecturer.. Now i got the 7th and 8TH editions of the same damn book.. WOW. I mean.. he sets questions from both books, AND he said that the 7th and 8th editions are very, very different. MAN i think ive spent like 400bucks on my total books so far.. but they are ESSENTIAL ok.. i NEED THEM. (id better do bloody well this sem).
OK you guys may ask me.. why don't i just borrow these books from the library and photocopy?? WeLL.. let me say that there are like atmost 5 copies in the whole entire library, each book is about a thousand pages long (im not exaggerating - they are that thick). AND, there are 220 people doing that course, so if u expect me to do what i did last semester when the textbook sold out, you can FORGET ABOUT IT!!!
Im so stressed im starting to hyperventilate... ARGGGHhhhh...
Oh yeah, HAPPY birthday MA!! i know your reading this!! didn't think i forgot didnt you?? lol ok gtg for class

im BACK!!
Well!! its been like a week since I've came back to good old boring Adelaide!!! Can't say im thrilled, yet i can't say that im sad that im here. On the other hand, Im really sad to leave GOOD old boring Singapore (to be fair if not im walking home) cos of all my great awesome friends. (IDUNWANNALEAVE!!!) LOL. yeah.. miss especially my smelly-pillow gang aka Jamie LEE (LOL) and Amanda and Rachel, and Youxin, and Kelvin etc etc.. Right now Im at Aaron's house blogging. He's leaving for WHoopwhoopland tomorrow for 3 weeks on placement. OK!!
First things first.. about Valentines Day (or as Amy would put it, the BIG V day).. Well!! At first Josh told me that he was going take me to a farewell party for Eddy (some guy going off to Melbourne to study). That would have been fine, accept for the following reasons:
1) I haven't seen him in 7 weeks.
2) Its also our 3rd year 5th month anniversary
3) Its Valentines Day
yep my boyfriend is a darling. LOL. Can u guess what i did when he announced this plan?? Yeah you are right! i went absolutely psycho at him.. Sent him a really scathing email, as well as call him up at 5am his time to yell at him. LOL.. as it turns out, that was the decoy for the real surprise.. He took me to Henley Beach and we had Greek Food, and then we went for a walk along the beach and jetty to see the sun set.. SIGH.. how romantic right?? LOL.. and yeah we went for the farewell after.
Ok thats pretty much all i have to blog except that i wanna Thank God for His grace, mercy and providence man!! yeah providence!! As it turns out.. Joy wants to move to near Kensington, the Parade :) I saw the unit today, and man!! its bigger than her house, and I HAVE Y OWN WALK IN WARDROBE AND A SEPARATE SHOE CUPBOARD!! HOW GOOD IS THAT!?!! LOL there's even a mirror and a phone line connected in my room!! Thank YOU God!! and the room is like a 4 by 4.. alot biggger than my present living conditions!! OK gtg have dinner its 9.30pm..

Going home..
What is the definition of "HOME"?? Does it mean the place where my family and friends are? Or does it mean the place where I'm most comfortable, where I am most of the time? Well.. if the word "Home" is defined like that, then i could say that I have 2 homes at the moment.. one is in Australia, Adelaide, and the other in Singapore.. Cos its in Singapore where my family and friends are..I will really, really, really miss them when I go back to Adelaide..
Its 2.30am Thursday Morning (9th Febuary), and I can't sleep thinking... In less than a week (4 days or so) I will be flying back to Adelaide, Australia where I will spend the next few months.. as per usual.. I really really will miss my family - my sisters, brother, parents and grandparents.. especially.. Man.. this sucks. I get teary almost at the thought of not seeing all of them till probably next year.. and Jamie and Rachel and Youxin and Amanda and Kelvin.. walao.. i really gonna miss them.. ALOT. I seriously think only my family members, and ALL my friends, including Clement, Amos, Gideon, etc especially the people mentioned above.. can take my crap.. lol.. I really love everyone here AND ive grown up here.. SOB.
On the other hand, going back to Adelaide.. hopefully isn's so bad.. For one thing ive got Valentines Day and Josh to look forward too.. and my car!! i miss my baby EKOH. LOL.. And I've also got Serena, Joy, Jen, Taera, Kavita, Nadia, Gaius all these people to look forward to meeting after so damn long..
But now i just wanna enjoy the little time i have left to spend with my family and friends.. That's top priority on my "LIst-of-things-to-do-before-flying-away"... SOB i dunnwannaleavethembehind..
Thank Goodness for the Sydney-Melbourne road trip in July to look forward too..

FOOD...glorious food all around.. and so FREELY available!
Seriously.. has anyone ever mentioned to you how great Singapore is for FOOD?!!! Lets take a look at the following reasons as to why I say so..
1) Its CHEAP!! Seeing as im a CHEAPO, this works out great for me. Like, i can get a plate of MEEPOk, LAKSA, MeeSiam, Mee Rebus for $3 ($3.50 at most)!! As compared to the $6 bucks i so unwillingly shellout in Australia for a huge plate of dunno-wad.. and tastes so CRAPPO as well... nvm.. on to no..2..
2) Its DELICIOUS!!! Do i even have to elaborate on this? Look at reason 1. As compared to Australia, where they can't even pronnounce the food right..
3) It so FREELY AVAILABLE!!! WALAO!! In singapore its much cheaper to eat out than to buy from Supermarket and cook yourself.. so GOOD RIGHT?!! EVerywhere you look, EveryWHERE GOT!!!
So!! With the three awesome reasons mentioned above, its no wonder that IM GETTING FAT.. its no joke..i seriously FEEL my tummy n face literally expanding.. sideways. Let me explain more..
OK.. Starting off with Chinese New YEar over last weekend.. This is the season for the Chinese to be Jolly and "Prosperous" (round), and the season where all the New Year Goodies are SOOO NICE N soo delicious!! SO.. you can guess what i did.. yup.. pigged out unbashfully. Then!! Comes Monday! Being such a diligent (*Cough *Choke) girl, i make plans to go to the gym with Sashi at 9.30am. By 10.30am, we get tired of gymming and make our way to the nearest Hawker center to eat.. ended up having MEEPOK.. This was at about 11am. Then went home, showered and met Audrey. Guess what?! we ended up eating at Cafe Cartel, where there is FREE FLOW BREAD!~ Couldn't finish my pork chops (they were 13.50 + 1.80 GST), so i ta paued them.. LOL.. very cheapo right?! the truth is i couldn't just turn my back on them... Then went home, and had dinner at 10pm plus.. 10PM PLUS LEH!! WALAO.. had MEE HOON QUAY.
Then today!! Woke up at 9 plus, and went to meet up with Sashi n Timothy for PRATA at Casurina. This was at 10am.. Had to leave by 11am, because i was having lunch with my ex-boss from the American embassy at 12.30pm. Had DIM SUM at Regent Hotel.. Now!! Im leaving to eat Cafe Cartel AGAIN!! WALAO!!
I think if i sneeze hard enough, or if my sisters "tau pok" me again, food will literally burst out from my ears and start comming out of me.....
